Is your child struggling at school?

Reflex Reset works with children with development, learning, behavioural and social/emotional difficulties. It uses a non-invasive, drug-free reflex integration programme (the INPP method) created for each individual to address underlying causes of neurodevelopment delay.

Does your child find it hard to learn to read and write?

We can help to identify whether their issues stem from a delay in neurodevelopment, called neuromotor immaturity. There can be many reasons why this has happened through no-one’s fault, maybe through difficulties in the pregnancy or birth, or during the child’s early years.

This can be easily identified by assessing for retained reflexes.

If a delay is identified, because primitive reflexes have been retained, or postural reflexes are underdeveloped, then help is at hand! An individualised exercise programme targets specific reflexes, and gives the brain a chance to catch up, meaning ultimately that the child should experience fewer symptoms related to their difficulties and can finally engage in their schooling more easily.

Retained reflexes can be a physical barrier to learning, causing difficulties with reading and writing, gross and fine motor skills. When a child has visual or auditory processing difficulties the information they are taught cannot be held in their working memory, leading to frustration.

A child with retained reflexes can be exhausted by the level of effort required to keep up with their peers during a school day, and underachievement is common as a result. After a reflex integration programme, the child is no longer held back by these physical barriers and can engage with and thrive in their education.

INPP Practitioner

As a qualified INPP Licentiate, I believe the INPP Method can be very successful at removing barriers to learning, caused by immature reflexes, and I want to see children able to engage in their education and to move forward, rather than be held back by a neurodevelopmental issue that can be remedied by an individualised programme of physical exercises.

The INPP Programme

The Institute for Neuro-Physiological Psychology (INPP) was founded in 1975 by Peter Blythe, PhD, to investigate whether there was a relationship between an immature nervous system and difficulties with learning and behaviour. Since its founding, the INPP has developed a reliable system to assess Neuro-Motor Immaturity (NMI) and has treated thousands of children using specific, tailored, non-invasive exercise programmes – the INPP method. This is the original neuro-development programme.

Katy is amazing! She is everything you hope for as a parent when searching for help for your child. Full of integrity, kind, funny and super helpful. No matter what your problem, Katy will give you reasonable expectations of what she can and can’t help with. Pricing reflects her desire to help, not rip parents off.

Highly recommend to anyone looking into the benefits of treating retained reflex therapy, I also found the information given on The Johansen Individualised Auditory Stimulation programme super interesting and helpful. We are full of gratitude.

Mum of a 15 year old boy

It has been SO encouraging to see G’s coordination and balance improve over the course of this last year. He has been able to do things that we never thought he would manage! Also great to have Katy on the end of the phone (or email) if we needed her advice about how the exercises were going.

She was always available to answer any questions we had. I’m only sorry we didn’t hear about Reflex Reset earlier and couldn’t have worked through this programme with our boy sooner.
